For my CBL project overview

This essay will tell you about endangered mammals of the state of Nebraska. 

(Explain project)

Thesis: In English class we are investigating current issues and hope to use our writing to make a change in the world. 

We are using Challenge Base Learning to teach others about the dangers of the increasing number of mammals near extinction in the state of Nebraska.

(Big Idea) The big idea of this project is to tell people the increasing number of mammals in Nebraska that are extinct or near extinction.

(EQ) The essential question we are asking is how can we help raise awareness about this in the state of Nebraska.

(Challenge) Our challenge is to tell people of the number of mammals loosing their home to city expansion and then later on becoming extinct.

(Why it’s important) This is important to Nebraska and other states because this is starting to become a bigger issue as the years go by. As the towns and city’s get bigger the more habitat is destroyed and the more animal that don’t have any homes and when they don’t have homes they become near extinction.

(Goals/hopes/what will happen) Our goals/hopes/and what will happen are that we can spread awareness and we think that will be the hardest part. We are exited about the getting to research this issue that growing everyday. Our ideas for the solution are if we raise awareness maybe it will change.
